Terms of Membership

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Next Decade — the website nextdecade.ch and the members' community at community.nextdecade.ch. By joining or using Next Decade, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Next Decade is operated by Mags Treanor as a sole proprietor, Canton of Lucerne, Switzerland. Contact: magstreanor@gmail.com.

2. What Next Decade is

Next Decade is a members' community and set of resources for people navigating work and life after fifty — including a community space, live calls, short workshops, self-assessments and a library. The community and courses are provided through the Circle platform.

3. Membership and pricing

Paid memberships are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Circle and its payment provider, until you cancel. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; any change will not affect a period you have already paid for.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel a paid membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not provide refunds for the remainder of a period already paid, except where required by law.

5. Your account and conduct

Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Be respectful towards other members. Do not post unlawful, harmful, hateful or infringing content, spam, or other people's private information. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms or the community guidelines.

6. The nature of our content

Next Decade offers educational and coaching content and peer community. It is not therapy, medical or psychological treatment, or financial or legal advice, and it does not create a therapist–client or professional advisory relationship. For decisions with significant health, financial or legal consequences, please consult a suitably qualified professional.

7. Intellectual property

The content, materials and branding of Next Decade are owned by Mags Treanor / Next Decade (photography via Unsplash under its licence). As a member you may use them for your own personal, non-commercial development. Please do not copy, share, resell or redistribute them without permission.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access; parts of it rely on third-party platforms such as Circle.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Next Decade. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated, and the date at the top shows the current version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is Lucerne, Switzerland.
